  • Time for the 2008 Pennsylvania National Horse Show
    Falling leaves in PA are a signal that the 2008 Pennsylvania National Horse Show Association is kicking off more than a week of equestrian entertainment at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Exhibition Center on Cameron & Maclay Streets in Harrisburg, PA.   (10/09/08)

  • 2008 Keystone International Livestock Exposition Set to Kickoff
    No need to wait until January to share a day at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex with many of the animals and people that contribute to one of the state’s leading industries taking center stage from September 27 through October 5, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.   (09/25/08)

  • Wildlife Rabies Vaccine Program Spread Over Western PA
    Fourteen Western Pennsylvania counties are participating in a PA Department of Agriculture wildlife rabies vaccination program. The goal is to control the spread of rabies among wildlife considered to be responsible for 90 percent of the reported rabies cases in the United States, with raccoons accounting for more than half of this total. Over the last 5 years, the program has seen a nearly 60 percent decline in the spread of rabies.   (09/12/08)

    One of the best ways to beat January’s winter doldrums is to celebrate our Commonwealth’s agricultural heritage at the annual Pennsylvania State Farm Show – the largest indoor agricultural event in the country. It’s a time to celebrate farmers’ contributions to our economy and heritage and to visit and enjoy the Farm Show Complex located in the heart of Dauphin County.
